Joni Steele KimberlinJoni Steele Kimberlin, Producer, Director, Writer. Joni co-produced and wrote the script for the award-winning PBS documentary Elizabeth Winthrop: All the Days of Her Life. Her latest project, Get Real! Wise Women Speak, a feature-length documentary about the adventure, meaning and value of women’s lives as they age, is currently in production. She has worked as a newspaper and magazine editor and also in advertising sales, marketing and as a video editor. She has done extensive philanthropic work and is a skilled fundraiser for charity.
barbara ghammashiBarbara Ghammashi, Co-producer. Barbara develops films with Cowgirl Films and Roadside Pictures Inc.  Her latest film Hot Flash, was a 2007 IFP Market Spotlight. Other recent credits include the documentary Home Front, on which she was a Consulting Producer, and the documentary Beslan: Three Days In September, on which she served as a Coordinating Producer.  Both films premiered at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival and aired on Showtime in 2006.  Prior to forming Roadside Pictures, Barbara spent five years at Showtime Networks Inc. where she was a Director of Original Programming.
Priyanka
Priyanka Kuriakose, Associate Producer. A graduate of the Newhouse School, Priya worked in Bombay as a writer, researcher, director and segment producer for shows airing on Doordarshan and Star TV.

Amy Mooney, Segment Producer. Since 1984, Amy has created and produced for CBS Network News, 48 HOURS, PBS, CNN, and corporate and non-profit companies.  For the past ten years she has produced and directed award-winning documentaries about women’s issues. She devotes considerable time to charitable work in Connecticut and New York.

Lisa Edwards, Associate Producer/Researcher. Lisa brings a wealth of business experience to Cowgirl Films. She is past president of an international executive search firm.

Madeleine Sackler, Offline Editor. Madeleine graduated from Duke University in 2005.  She has edited several short documentaries for Moxie Pictures, working with clients that include Trudie Styler and Eliot Spitzer.  She recently completed her second season of MTV’s Human Giant.

Genevieve Kimberlin, Assistant Producer. A Boston College student, Genevieve’s energy, tech know-how, cheerful demeanor and overall competence displayed with every challenge keep the production running smoothly and on track.

Annetta Marion, Line Producer, Get Real! Wise Women Speak, An award-winning filmmaker, Annetta originally hails from a small Pennsylvania coal-mining town, and currently lives and works in New York City. Her body of work as a filmmaker and director includes over ten short documentary and narrative films, as well as broadcast commercials, public service announcements and episodes for a web series. For her work, Marion has received a directing fellowship at AFI’s prestigious Directing Workshop for Women, and has been nominated for the Working Woman Entrepreneurial Excellence Award and the Northern Ohio Live Awards of Achievement in Film/Radio/TV.

Heather Murphy, Assistant Director. Heather started her career with MTV in LA, but chose to move back East to study film making at the Rockport College and The New School. A writer, director & editor, she has also worked as a camera person on 2006’s Academy and Emmy nominated documentary Street Fight. She’s also co-written the award winning film Sound Barrier which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, 2005 and has just finished co-writing and directing Siri Oko Fo a short film that premiered at Cannes, 2008.

Joseph Parlagreco, Director of Photography,Get Real! Wise Women Speak, for scripted and verite scenes. Joe’s directing credits include television programs for ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS and VH1. He has produced numerous short films and television pilots. Joe’s photography credits include, among others, the award-winning films Every Three Minutes, Personal Assistant, and Walking Charley. His documentary work includes the award winning
documentaries Bisexual: Redefining Stereotypes in the Christian Community and FIRST: Local Heroes, Future Stars.

Jim FitzGerald, Cameraman has been an industry pro for twenty-five years. His work has appeared on numerous networks and he has been a long-time cameraman for ABC.

Bruce Becker, Cameraman is an award winning news videographer who has been DP on a number of documentaries including Circling the World, Big Ideas for Thought Leaders, and Mouthpiece: Voice of the Accused for History Channel, among others.

Josh Isaac, Sound Recording. Josh, a University of Colorado grad, resides in New York and has worked in film for a decade. His numerous credits as sound recordist include the 2008 documentary, Carrier and A & E’s Parking Wars.
